Belt for TFU Guards

As seen in the video game "The Force Unleashed". Now an approved costume!

Belt for TFU Guards

Post by Draft808 »

Evening folks.
I'm working on my shadow guard as my first attempt to upgrade my old 5th grader sized RotJ RG. So I started with what I know, leather working.

I referenced the image form Wookieepedia (this one) and saw no visible belt end and, contrary to the CRL's at the time of this posting, no visible snap or silver dot on the belt itself besides the Data disk on the buckle itself.

So I though I'd share my interpretation..
Image
I feel it's more game art and screen cap accurate without the snap/rivet and visible end.
Also, would I be right in thinking there's a channel or groove toward the top and bottom edge of the belt?
Image
To make it seamless I hid the ends behind the buckle itself. One size. Velcro to further secure end.

So the question is, does the lack of rivet/snap and edge groove disqualify the belt for 501st approval?

Its got the belt grooves of the officer. So I'm good with it.

Awesome.
Still think I need to take another go at getting the finish right on the buckle, something wonky about it.

PS: I'd be up for making a few spares if there's interest. PM me inquiries.

I'd be interested. How much would you be charging on those and did you measure at your waist or hips?

I'd be very interested in a belt, if you're still offering them.
