I have read thru the boards and the CRL and just want to make sure that I have the right fabric in mind for the costume since I don't want to find out after the fact that it is the wrong type.
For the Outer Robe you can use Velvet or Velveteen (Crimson Red of course).
For the lining of the Outer Robe, Inner Robe, Gloves and Sash for can use Broad Cloth (burgundy or wine coloured)
Do that pretty much sum up the fabrics?
Thanks in advance.
Types of Fabric
Re: Types of Fabric
Sounds good, but I'm not sure about the broad cloth.I'd rather go with a burgundy red/wine twill. Also the gloves are made of suede, not broad cloth.

Re: Types of Fabric
Late to the party here.
I wouldn't use broadcloth, personally, but you could. Twill is good. My gloves are made from 4-way stretch jersey cloth that matches the inner robes.
