Helmet arrived today. Let's just say I'm less than impressed :x
It looks like it was packed before the paint dried properly. There are deep bubble wrap marks all over it.
It's fibreglass, so I can rub it back and repaint, but it is a bit misshapen as well.

Where is the helmet from??? It´s terrible to see on the pics, sure you can revise it, but annoying anyway.

I too would be interested in knowing where the helmet came from as it almost appears to be a Don Post recast.

One thing you'll need to fix outside of the paint is the visor as it is not tinted dark enough for approval.

Helmet is a fiberglass from Thailand. The seller is now on evilbay. I'm not sure if it is quite as small as a DP, but it is a little tight around the neck part when putting it on. Let's just say Ash can't get it on. Not sure what his bucket is but it's bigger, not a lot though. If it is a DP recast, it's been made larger I think.

I was aware of the visor issue too. Ash has some tint which I can put on the inside.

I'm in negotiation with the seller about getting some money back. I took a chance and it didn't pay off. Oh well,I'll just have to sand it back and repaint it once my robes arrive.
