Post by 61815 »

Hi gang

Came across this force pike on the 501st.com sales section, and was wondering whether it could get approved??

As weapons are not a part of the approval process there is no approved/disapproved standpoint.

That being said, the pommel doesn't really look right to me. But source info on the pike is sketchy so I wouldn't worry about it.

So I shouldn't get worried if I decide to buy this one???

I'm just saying that it's so hard to see the actual forcepike in the movies that it's a difficult call to make on what is and what isn't accurate. The standard is having a 2 part handle (black part) which the listed one you're talking about doesn't have. That being said...weapons aren't part of the approval process so as long as you're using something in the ballpark 99.95% of people wouldn't be able to tell. When you come to a detachment we're all looking way to close at the tiniest things so we focus on things like this.
