Maybe you can sew it on the sash? Need to see some pictures to decide what could be done.

Re: Darth Dog's ROTJ Royal Guard WIP
Hi Darth Dog;
I've been watching this build thread closely. You have done amazing work. I just wanted to ask one thing.
I am building myself a pool cue pike (I have a metal pike coming in also). I have used Rustoleum rattle cans on my pool cue pike and was wondering if you have thought of how to stop silver wearing off've the pike and onto the robes (given the way we carry our pikes 99% of the time)? I have read somewhere some brand of liquid floor wax was a great way of protecting the pike and cutting down the chance of paint transference from the pike to the robes. (I thought I had read about it in this actual thread, but via quickly perusing the posts I seem to be mistaken). Would you have any ideas concerning this?

You should be fine. As long as you have let the pike paint dry.

If you are having a problem with the paint rubbing off you might try a clear cote. Get a high gloss so it will shine. Personally I don't really like Rustoleum for many things. I prefer to use an automotive quality paint like Dupli-Color. They are a laquer based paint and will give you a very durable finish. I used a ski pole so it did not need painting.

Did a trial suit up. Am going to have to work on the cooling fan mounting system. To help my wife hear through the helmet and over the noise of the fan I bought a hearing assist device which you will notice attached to the left side of her inner robe with a safety pin. We dropped my sons Clone Trooper helmet on her and she said she could hear well. No word yet on helmet arrival.

Looking very good.
But i suggest to rise the robe a little bit on the back.
Just enough it is above the ground. Else somebody can trip on it.

I noticed that. Will play with the positioning a little first but will probably have to come up a bit. It doesn't really drag behind as its not that long but it will start to wear holes after a while. Was thinking about sewing some sholder pads in and that might raise it up a bit.

That's our Ewok. Needs a haircut.
And not so obedient. Thinks it runs the place.
