Hi Beccy,
am I right to guess that this is beccy from QLD who was at Dreamworld on the weekend.
Post up some photos of what you've got, everyone loves photos.
Hope you have some luck finding a way to do the hard armour.
This will look awesome, though you'll cook in it.
Cheers,
Joe

I think the gloves look good but I'm not an expert on the matter. In my quick reading of the CRLs they match what we're looking for. That being said...$75 for gloves...cold weather gloves for Down Under? I think you're trying to kill yourself

Re: my slow shadow guard build
The only concern I would have is the stitching on the back of the palm... my understanding is the gloves for this should be smooth with no stitching there.
On a side note, winter gloves can be very uncomfortable (I have thinsulate gloves for full canon events) as this is an extremely hot costume.

Re: my slow shadow guard build
From the CRL:
- Black, leather or leather-like, enclosed fingered, non-textured, fitted gauntlet style.
- No buckles, straps, or decorative stitching are permitted.
- The three straight lines on the back of the hand (that match some references) are permitted.
Re: my slow shadow guard build

I would stick with a plain non-stitched backing gauntlet.
