RotJ Gloves: Leather or cloth

i am very confused: I've buyed the Soft Parts by Fenixprops and yesterday i get a message: I get free Leather Gloves for my RotJ Guard. Well, the CRLs:

Burgundy or dark purple cloth or suede gloves with no extraneous straps, buckles or ornamental stitching. The gloves are to cover the wearer's wrists.

also are suede gloves acceptable, but as i asked him "Are they suede leather or normal leather gloves?" he answered that he don't know what "suede" (Deutsch: Wildleder) is

So does anyone have those Suede Leather (Deutsch: Wildleder) Gloves for his RotJ (!!!) Guard or are there now acceptable or not?? however, i am confused

I got FP stuff too, the gloves are made of the same material as the inner robe, so burgundy velvet. English is not his native language so I'm not surprised he got confused but they are neither leather nor suede.

Yes, there are normally the cloth ones in the package, but he would upgrade the gloves to leather ones.
so i don't know if i should take the leather ones or the cloth ones because in the CRLs are both...

Let him sent you the leather ones.
If they are not suede sell them after you brought them to a seamstress and let her make you some linen or suede ones with the same design.
I think you will get enough Money for selling the leather ones to pay the seamstress.

Return of the Jedi Royal Guards wear cloth gloves. Typically these are made of the same material as your inner robe. If you're getting them from FP then you'll be fine. I agree though, if you get leather gloves you can always sell them and make enough to get the correct cloth gloves.

Yes that's right, the cloth ones are accurate, but in the CRLs are the Leather ones too... confusing..

well, i think i take the cloth ones and no the leather gloves...then i am on the save side..

While I had nothing to do with writing the CRLs I feel safe in saying that suede was put in there because appropriate colored suede gloves can be found and it looks very close to cloth from a distance. Shiny leather is flat out.

Going with the cloth is the way to go and you made the right choice.

With that being said, there are some revisions to the CRL's in the works to add some additional clarity and/or change some wording. Keep an eye out for updates over the course of this term.

Mine are being made from burgundy ultrasuede. They have the look of suede, but the feel and wearability of cloth.

Always looked more suede than velour to me...
