naphaniel's Shadow Guard

Post by naphaniel »

Hello, It's been 2 years already since I came here for the first time looking for informations about SG. Finally, the time has come for running for approval, here some pictures of my costume, hope you'll like it :

The pike is LED powered by Cristal focus, the setup has been made by Plecterlabs. But we had not enough room (with blade it's almost 2,50 meters !) and time to shoot it with the blade, I'll make a video, you can find some pictures of the working progress for both costume and pike here :

The Only thing I can see that needs to be updated would be the grooves in the belt :)

Hmm, haven't thought about that when i bought it, maybe I was too much focused on the shape of buckle :) The grooves are not mentionned in the crl so maybe it will pass without it. A friend of mine can fix that later, but I'm running against time to be part of a trading card run.

The belt really should have the grooves on it before approval, but the costume may be approvable with the caveat that the grooves are added to the belt within a reasonable time frame.

LT and I are in the process of cleaning up some items on the CRL and this item will be added to the list of needed fixes. Thanks for pointing it out.

Yeah that is a standard Belt the way the right it. The references from the game clearly show grooves.

Thanks Stripes and Lucius for your advice, I hope this will be the choosen option : validated on the promise of doing the grooves after it, it should not be a problem, and not "do your grooves, make another photoshoot and we'll see in two weeks..."
