Jester and Lucious: You have new PM's
Also now that I am looking back into this project (after putting it off to go emperor standard with my emperor costume) I am a little confused by the wording in the CRL concerning the color of the visor in the helment: it talks about a red or smoky tint.....
I believe for ROTJ, Red IS more canon, but is black approvable? the person I plan to get my helmet from does either....
I am just asking because I really like the black better as it would hide the wearer more.... but if it is frowned upon , I will go with the red.
Please let me know.
Also I will still be needing Force Pike and Boots ( I Would like red ones and not jack boots) That being said I am on a budget.... If anyone knows of forcepike or red approvable budget boots PLEASE PM me.
Thank you all in advanced!

Red would be the more Canon - A lot of folks use the Black and such. I personally have a Reflective Visor that you can not see my eyes in

I swapped out my red lense for a red tinted one like LT.
I didnt like the fact people could see my eyes through the visor.

I put car window tint on mine. It reflects back the red of the visor so you can't see inMarcus wrote:I swapped out my red lense for a red tinted one like LT.

Re: Hello. I need help please...
I couldn't find a red visor easily so I used a smoked tinted motorcycle helmet visor, cut out the shape and attached a red covering. It looks like a really dark red from the outside. I'm thinking about just switching it out for back because it's really hard to tell it's red (unless you're really looking) and I'm constantly confused as to what color things are when I've got my bucket on (for example...yellow, pink, and white all look white...so when we're discussing something either before or after a troop, "Go stand next to the yellow door" or "Did you see that kid in a pink shirt? She was so excited to see us." it gets a little old).
Every picture I've seen (ROTJ) you could say the visor could be anything dark. There is one exception, and that's from the Blu-Ray deleted scenes...the visor is clearly red, you can see the guy's nose:
