Force pike end tip

Post by Coreymcmac »

Hi

I need your advice. I'm building a force pike from a pool cue. Not sure about the tip before I paint. Should it be long or short. The photos are my 2 options, unless there are any alternatives. Short is a flixonase spray cap. Long one is a syringe we had spare for our puppy. Long one will have to be attached slightly differently. ImageImage

IMO, the length of the spray cap is good, but it's too thick after the ring, while the syringe has the proper thickness, but it seems too long. Maybe shortening the syringe? I'm assuming it's for a AOTC style and not ROTJ right?

Thanks. Maybe half the length of the syringe? If i wanted ROTJ, what should use?

ROTJ is more of a mechanical gear type end part instead of the disks, with also color variation. If you check the crl (or maybe here in the weapons section, don't remember), you will see the difference . Ppl use worm gears from a garage door opener from what I can see, and then cut grooves in it. I used a 3D model of one, adjusted the inner hole dimension and cut the grooves in a cad program, then printed it out:
