Shadow Guard Belt

Hello protectors.

I have set myself the goal of building a Shadow Guard for next year.

One of the first questions I have is about the belt. At first glance, the belt looks like the belts worn by TIE pilots. (Which would be practical, because I already have one). But I'm unsure about the little metal dot next to the buckle. This dot is there on the pilot's belt. I don't see it in the CRL for the Shadow Guard. But on some photos of approved guards I see it. What is the current status? Is this metal part on the belt also approved?

From the CRL

The belt must not have a visible rivet.

So, technically this shouldn't be there for the costume. Approvals are done by local GMLs though, so that's probably why you've seen some guards with the belt with the snap/rivet

We have a local guy that makes them. HIs workmanship is a work of art. If you tell him it's for a shadow guard and you don't want the rivet, he will make the proper one for you (with the lines and all) But you have to tell him. We are 2 of our Garrison with his shadow belt.

Definitely would make your own. Much more affordable. Spent about 25 on mine
