looking to order from Imperial boots gloves and boots for my royal guard costume,
people that have purchased from them, can they tell me what the turnaround time is from placement of order to delivery

IB tends to do things in Waves. They will be able to let you know on that.

I've ordered from them a couple of times, and it always took just a few weeks (with shipping to Germany).

They are currently not taking orders. The next wave (according to their site) is scheduled to start 10-17 March. So I wouldn't bother checking until the 10th. If you miss the 17th, they seem to run a wave every month or so if I recall correctly.

I recently ordered jack boots from Russia paid 42 for the boots and 35 for the shipping which was under 2 weeks.

did you order them from sovietboots.com and what jackboots did you order from them.

Sovietboots is a pretty good place for ordering. It gets use from SLD as well for a Vader boot option.
I personally found my pair of soviet boots on eBay and were a fraction of the price of the sovietboots website. I think they were around $45USD including shipping from the Ukraine; and they were in fantastic shape when they arrived about 2 weeks later. I'd recommend checking out eBay first, and if they have nothing that would work then pick up from the site.
