Imperial Boots ERG
Imperial Boots ERG
I just got my box of goods yesterday from Imperial Boots. It's a pretty nice set. Comes with everything but the helmet and pike. Inner and outer robes, boots, gloves, sash, neck seal and balaclava. The robes come extra long to accommodate very tall and need to be re-hemmed for shorter. I'll post pics after I hem and take submission photos.

I was gonna purchaseat this from them also...Can't wait to see how it looks
Re: Imperial Boots ERG
Can i ask where you got your helmet and how it compares in color to the robes from IB? Do you happen to have a photo to compare? I am going to order the set from IB and want to find a matching helmet.
Re: Imperial Boots ERG
Here's the Imperial Boots set along with a Rubies bucket. I think they match pretty well... and the big bucket is useful for my big head.

Re: Imperial Boots ERG
Wow, that is a close match. Much closer than even the CRL pictures. Should be an easy approval.

Question for you (and anyone that has experience with this): I noted that IB states their inner robes are made of velveteen. The CRL for the ROTJ guard says it shutoff be velvet cloth, which, according to a friend of mine, is velvet in and of itself not velveteen. Is all of that correct and if so doesn't that create an approval issue?

Velveteen isn't an issue for approval, as far as I know.

Re: Imperial Boots ERG
Velveteen is perfectly acceptable, and IMO is a better solution as it can get wet (ie: you can wash it)
Re: Imperial Boots ERG
Not gonna lie, definitely wish I would've known about these robes 6 months ago when I bought a new set that was twice as expensive and looks half as nice.

Re: Imperial Boots ERG
It looks fantastic! Let us know if it gets approved. If it does I'm going to buy a set.
