After watching the actual movie. The pants looked just like the black Under Armor pants (or tights perhaps you could call them) that most of our TK's wear.
Movies Will not always pick up all the details when scenes are at full speed.

I have to side with LT on this... the movie has shown a ton, but in a high speed combat scenario... details are not going to full translate. Still photos have been analyzed and show a pebbled texture to both the shirt and the pants that will need to be replicated.
Despite what some might think, I do not believe the materials to be leather or faux leather at they flow and stretch without the creases that leather or faux leather would create. Since these are actual costumes (not CGI like the clones in AoTC or RoTS), real materials had to be used to create them so it is a matter of finding the correct material to replicate this appearance.

There is no evidence of a cracked resin on these pants as they appear to be a consistent texture from all reference shots I have seen
