Royal Guard Boots??

Post by TK IAIN »

After trawling round every shoe shop in Glasgow and the surrounding areas I came upon these little beauties and thought they would be perfect for when my Royal Guard arrives.Just thought I'd see what you guys thought of them!
I've got an open offer on some black riding boots but when I saw these I thought I had struck gold!
Have already emailed the seller to see if they're available in a UK/European size 9.

Let us know on your results. Those will work out. We do have options here in the US for sizes of to 11 in men shoes.

Just thought(does'nt happen too often).

I take a UK size 9(male obviously) but if memory serves there's a difference between the UK and USA sizes???

God!This is doing my head in-so am I right in thinking that I need to go two sizes up to compensate for the difference in women's sizes then I have to compensate for the 'cross Atlantic differences??

Bugger it!I'll give up now and go and have some alcohol to calm my melted wee brain!

No joy whatsoever mate!Got to the point I'm cheesed off at having size 9's.
Would have a multitude of choices if I was a 6 or smaller.Getting a pair of clearable black riding boots from an old RG in Scotland so they'll do me just fine until a pair of the elusive pixie boots turn up!

Patience my brothers.

I managed to get 2 pair of size 9's, just lost out on an e bid for some 8.5s and ordered some siz 9s from China at the moment (will post detatils when they come (if?!)) Siz 11's hmm, maybe if they were leather you could stratch them and probably put up with standing still in them for a couple of hours at a time.

Don't forget most women sizes in boots are two sizes smaller than mens.

Yeah these are a US womens 12! Plus the ones I have found in the UK are up to UK size 11 which according to most size charts is a US 13.

Whichever way you look at it they are about as big as you're going to find.

Will let you know how it works out.
