I do not see broadcloth in the CRL as being acceptable. I do see Gaberdine as acceptable.
did you get your inner robes approved with the broadcloth.

No not for the inner robe just the lining on outer robe. Gaberdine is what is best but there are alternatives as long as it's burgundy. Though CRLs changed since so follow those.

I checked latest CRL and it states a burgundy cloth or fabric is still acceptable. Gaberdine is recommended but not essential.
