possable Boots

Sorry for the delay in getting the pictures.

This is what the boots looked like before I cut them (they were over the knee and partially covered by my pyjama pants):


I cut them mid-calf with a pair of regular scissors and you can see the two layers (red and the inner liner):


I took a needle and bit of thread and loosely pulled the two layers together. The material is pretty stretchy, so if you sew it too tight the thread won't flex:


And the final look. It's not pretty, but mid-calf shouldn't ever be visible:
