Hello All!
I would like to work on my helmet, but need to trim it. There is a return edge on the bottom, should I cut this off?

Re: ABS helmet trimming question
Could you explain more of what your wanting to do so that we could further assist you. All guest helmets normally have a return edge.

A picture of what you want to trim would be good. Then we can help you easier.

Hi Redgirl;
I contacted 'Q' about this same thing. He said (as with a TK bucket), build and bondo the TR bucket first, then once done, BEFORE painting, trim around the bottom. Leave a 5-8mm return edge all the way around.
Hope that helps.
Cheers
