Bucket recommendation
Bucket recommendation
I'm looking to begin building either a ROTS or ROTJ costume. I have a 60 cm/23.5 in head. Not sure if I should go with FP or gmrhodes13.
Any suggestions?

Re: Bucket recommendation
FP is the largest helmet around. If you're more than 6' tall it shouldn't make you feel like a bobblehead and you'll be just fine. Not aware of the other maker so I can't talk on it.

Re: Bucket recommendation
I got a 57cm head and i am wearing a steviebxxx helmet and a camino_custom helmet. I have enough room in both of them.
The FP seems to be a bit larger then my own but i too can t say anything about a helmet from gmrhodes13.

Re: Bucket recommendation
The FP bucket is very huge as my former speakers mentioned before. I´ve one for myself and I´m quiet satisfied with the space inside. As I´m tall it doesn´t looks like a bubble head version. Means it depends on your body measurements too, to choice a FP bucket. The FP bucket is made from fiberglass that might be a bit heavier as the bucket done by gmrhodes13 (an aussi board member) as his bucket is done by ABS. May just pm him for further detail information about the size of his helmets.

Re: Bucket recommendation
I've never worn anything other than fiberglass and I've worn one for hours. The weight isn't the issue...it's the lack of good air circulation

Re: Bucket recommendation
I am also using steviebxxx helmet and have 57cm head. Quite a lot of space in there. The helmet is made of fiberglass so maybe a little heavier than others.
Re: Bucket recommendation
Thanks for your feedback. I'm 5'11" (180cm) so it sounds like the bobble head factor should be minimal. I'll also be wearing shoulder pads. I'm not overly concerned about the weight but ABS would be much lighter.
I'll pm gmrhodes13 as well to get his feedback.
Thank you all!

There isn't said anything about materials and I'm not sure about back side.
