Shadow Guard Saber Pike coloration

Hey guys so I am working on my saber pike and ran into a snag on the colours now in most of the reference material I possess it looks like a silver / dark gun metal colour with some black in the trenches of the grips. I know the CRL shows it to be more or less black to match the armour but loads of my material conflicts with it. So if anyone would be so kind as to give me the best option since this needs a definitive answer since we are powder coating the saber pike and it is an all metal construction :)

The saberpike would be a gunmetal or black color.
