Re: My AOTC red crayon -
Outside of the back of the cloak as you have mentioned, There seems to be an issue with the design overall... Are you able to have the cloak conceal your arms when you are standing at rest? There also seems to be an awful lot of bunching of fabric at your shoulders that doesn't match up with any of the visual references.

Ok - did not know I needed that picture. Ive been told in the past that I slouch my shoulders and my dad used to say I need to hold them up better could this be causing a problem?

Here is the pictures of the top of the robe just checking to make sure everything looks right before I tell them to make the final trim.
thanks,

Looking good. Two things I do see... it is sliding forward on you and this will cause issues when you hem the bottom. The other is your arm slits only come to your elbows, you'll want the arm slits even with your armpits.
Re: My AOTC red crayon build -
Thanks, we had talked about the hem in the bottom today
but she was making sure the top was right first
How much far from the ground should the robe be from touching the ground? That is the other question she had.
Thanks, for your time

The build is coming along nicely.
The robe should be an inch off the ground as far as I'm aware.

The hem should be no more than 1" off the ground all the way around.Jpizzino wrote:Thanks, we had talked about the hem in the bottom todaybut she was making sure the top was right first
