My Royal Guard WIP

Post by jin starkiller »

Here are my robes so far I realized that after receiving them that they are a tad too long and need to be hemmed

With my inner robes how far from the ground do they need to be, is it common for average pant length or less?

I know the outer robe also needs to be hemmed so that it does not become a tripping hazard

Also I did not see it in the CRL's exactly how the belt is supposed to be wrapped and tied

Will squared toe motorcyle boots work like the ones I have in the pictures

Thanx

They certainly look to be FP given the look and extra length.

Yeah they've got to be FP robes. A bit of hemming and you'll be golden.

I guess the good thing is that they were at least too long/big instead of too short/small!!!! At least you can make the changes. How long did you have to wait for them from the time you sent in your money/measurments?

ALWAYS better to be too large than too small. At least with yours you could wear them. When I got mine the neck opening was too small and I had to take them to a seamstress to have the hole opened up so I could fit my head through it BEFORE finding out if it were too large or too small.

as for how long it took from beginning of February till a few days ago when it was like Christmas getting my package :trsuit:

The last picture with the outer cloak appears that it is still dragging on the ground. Full back and side pictures will help in assessing this better.
