Congratulations on your approval and welcome to the Legion!
Have you gotten your number yet? What's the story behind it?

Re: Darth Shu's ROTJ build
I have not gotten my number yet. I just put in last night for it. The way Garrison Carida is set up is that we go through Imperial Academy first, submit our pictures to the CO and advisor, and the CO then posts it up for the other advisors to look over and vote on (there are 13 advisors in Garrison Carida). So, when I say I graduated, I should specify that I graduated Garrison Carida's Imperial Academy. Hopefully will hear back soon from the Legion people soon with my ID #
We'll see
Not sure how long that process usually takes, but my CO did everything on his end, so it's up to Legion people now

Re: Darth Shu's ROTJ build
That's an interesting system Cardia has set up.... In the Southern California Garrison, we have a mentoring program for the building of the costume, and then we submit pics to the GML, and when the GML signs off on it, the app gets submitted.
Re: Darth Shu's ROTJ build
Carida likes to have that many sets of eyes looking over costumes so that way there's a better chance of catching something if anything is off at all, and my advisor didn't vote since he would tend to give a biased opinion since he had a hand in guiding me in the build. He'll give answers and descriptions to questions other advisors may ask, but he doesn't vote. I like having that many people look over it, it ensures that what I have completed is looked over many times, which means less flaws gets through. Great bunch of dedicated Star Wars fans!!! They have become my 2nd family, and I can't wait to finally troop in costume with them!

Re: Darth Shu's ROTJ build
Any idea on how long it takes to get a TK ID? I registered for one on Sunday evening. I know it's only Wednesday, but I was just curious as to the average wait time for an ID. Thanks!!

Mine took a week from memory, however I was approved just before elections, so I guess that's not the best indicator.

Re: Darth Shu's ROTJ build
it depends on the workload the LMO's have... it can be anywhere from a couple days to a couple weeks.
Re: Darth Shu's ROTJ build
It happened to be a quick turn around
I'm official
TR-70700. I guess the Legion doesn't do numbers that start with "0" because the original one I put in for was 0707, but I'll take backwards
It's my wedding anniversary date (07/07). Not that it's hard to remember that date (it's full one is 07/07/07), but it'll be there permanently now
Thanks again to everyone for their support through my build!!!! Now, to save up for red boots and a new pike
