virateck guard kit sculpt

As seen in the video game "The Force Unleashed". Now an approved costume!

What do you think is ugly and not accurate? The ridges or having a smooth finish? I have no side in this argument, I'm just curious.

Where the shoulder models compared to the shoulder models of the stormtroopers from the same game? That should give the most clear indication if there is any actual ridge.

We are not talking about the TK costumes here. The decision has been made to have the ridge on the shoulder bell going forward for all TFU guards. This is what will be in the CRL and will be a required component of the costume. The game model clearly illustrates the design, thus there will be no debate on this update.

So when we can expect an update? It will be better references than the sketch based on the model (below)?

I'm preparing to do the this costume and do not want to do shoulder twice :)

We have members working on the new shoulder bell design and will post live photos as soon as possible. In the meantime, the capture from the game is temporarily serving as reference.

Hi,

Do we have any live photo's of the new design of the shoulder bell's with ridges? I'm about to start my son's Shadow Guard build and would
like to do this correctly.

Also Virateck how close are with finishing your kits?

Regards,
Scott.

Just out of curiosity, would there be more changes to the CRL ?
I'm building a Shadow Guard for my wife and I'm just wondering if i should put that on hold until the updated CRL is on.

IMHO, the ridge on those new pics look lower than the one in TK shoulders, maybe a strip glued on top of the smooth ones would give the hoped result ?

Thanks,
Osku
