I have my helmet from him as well and i love it. My only 2 things, 1 it is prepainted and hard to find fabric to match if you don't want to repaint it, 2 it is a big helmet, which works great for bigger troopers like myself but might look disportionate for someone with smaller frames.

If you have the pheonix props one he does also have them unpainted for a lot cheaper. That is what I gpt and have bogged, sanded, undercoated and painted for a lot cheaper than the difference between his two.
I like mine being slighly bigger too, as I have room to put some fans in to help circulation of air, as I find they can get very hot and stuffy otherwise.

I'm a pretty big guy (6'1" and fairly heavy), so size of the helmet wouldn't be an issue (unless it were a Don Post...) So, bigger the better! :) I already confirmed that his helmets are big enough for me. He has 2 more up for auction (I was outbid on the other one), so, I'll see if I can win one! Thanks for everyone's input! It's been really helpful!

Glad that I found this discussion. I just bought a Don Post and I could use the extra room for my large head. I think IO will be ordering from fenix.

So, I'm now getting nervous. Haven't received the helmet yet. It said it was shipped on Jan. 2nd. It's now a day over the delivery date. Any idea why it could be taking so long? He didn't give a tracking number either, so that really makes me nervous. Does shipping from the UK to Pennsylvania (east coast of USA) usually take more than 14 days??

Being an international member myself, I can attest to long shipping times. Most often shipping takes 2 weeks out of the US, the odd time it's faster, but I generally count on it being longer (3-5 weeks). Overseas shipping is even worse unfortunately. Have patience as I am sure it will arrive safely.

Even though I'm in Australia and shipping times from the USA to here are lightning fast more often than not, anything I've ever ordered from the UK has always taken extra time. Family living over there have also said similar things when shipping Christmas presents to and from the country.

I'm not sure if it's all over the UK, or just certain parts, however there certainly seems to be a history of slightly longer shipping times from there.

My personal shipping experiences from Germany to USA are 4-8 weeks for delivery, for whatever reason?!? So I think be patient for a while.

Thanks for all the replies. It's now been exact a month since the seller shipped it, and still no helmet. I've been in constant contact with him, he's shown me the shipping receipt and everything. Next step is he says he picked up a claims form from the postal service in the U.K. and they're supposedly going to help him track down my rogue helmet... Hopefully I'll get it soon though! I'm now officially starting to freak out a little bit that it may have gotten lost or stolen... :aww: :wow: Hope it shows up soon!!!!
