So I just finished my helmet and inner robes and have to put a back on my sash. Here's my progress so far for any comments, looking good and approvable?

The first picture shows the robe color accurately and the second pic shows the helmet color accurately. Kitchen lighting at 1am is a little wacky at different angles...





Really need to get working on finding a boot source. Size 13

I have size 12/13 feet too. If you're looking for red shoes, I can't help you, but if you want to get the black boots for initial approval, I can help you out. Are you going to be at the parade today?

Finding red boots in my/our size is going to be really hard since it rules out most womens, so I'm just going to get black boots for initial approval and just keep my eyes open for red options.

Oh and no I can't make it down there today unfortunately. Taking the fam to see Santa. Isn't it raining there anyway? It is here

It did rain a little today, but by the time we started marching, it had mostly stopped. I got my boots here (http://www.medievalcollectibles.com/p-7 ... boots.aspx)

Got my jack boots and suede gloves, now all I have to do is get started on the outer robes. Which is the scariest part because I can't find a pattern for it anywhere! Time to get creative
