Finally I´ve all things together and the day is not far off when I can take photos for approval.
Last thing I worked on was the Bucket.

It´s an original Don Post Helmet:



After cutting the visor out. (I know, the tested visor was way too yellow)


After rough sanding


Then I sanded it down very fine and started painting


yeah! Red red red red (without clearcoat)


With clearcoat (and a fabric pattern from the cloak)

In what way did you attach the visor? I wonder if I could use magnets. Can you recommend this? It would be helpful to remove it easily.

You can use "velcro". Also, keep a close eye out on the DP Helmet they have a tendency to warp with temperate differences.

I bent a piece of metal to conform to the shape of the inside of my helmet and taped the visor to that, then I glued magnets (rare-earth) to the inside of the helmet. That way I can replace the visor if I wanted to. In three years I've yet to need to replace the visor honestly. I did use high-humidity superglue to attach the magnets to the inside of the helmet as it can get muggy in there.

I have magnets inside mine sandwiching the lens. Gives a little air flow, and easily removable to clean off the nose prints.

Are those Fenixprop robes??

Yes, the robes are fp.
For the helmet I used car paint manufactured by PPG.

I got my approval. That was fast.
TR 10037 is ready for trooping.
