Helmet Visor

Post by zorno666 »

I just received my bucket and I used a red film covering. Its the same used in a car reflector and I was wondering if this would work or does it need to be either darker or mirrored.

Here it is in normal lighting

And here it is using the camera flash

I'd pass it. If you really want to know, I would just ask your GML if it is dark enough.

It seems dark enough, but a self picture makes it difficult to tell 100% for sure. If you can have someone take a photo of you and post that, then we can get a better judgement on if it's dark enough.

One thing to consider is you don't want the visor so dark that it makes it difficult for you to see things yourself as this then becomes a safety hazard.
