The foot plate actually looks like it is sitting too high up on the foot. This will likely make it very hard (and painful) to walk. I would suggest moving it more towards the toe of the boot (at least 1", if not 2").
As for mounting it... you could always try snap plates or Velcro that could be hidden under the armour plate and attack via elastic strip that matches the boot for colour

I know , they are just put on the boot for take a picture , not build . The red armor looks great. Did you change any of the parts? Shoulders and ab made bigger would be perfect. Gauntlets needs work.
