I'm going to say the WINE color is a little too much "PURPLE" for the shoe. Should be a "RED". Nice choice other though.

Wish they did an eqivalent to a UK men's size 9!

I should probably add that I am working on a ROTJ style... orange cowboy boots, they are not .. but didn't know if the toe shape was acceptable?

do you have your robes yet? If so could you post a picture how they looked together.

I don't. Just bucket, boots and gloves at the moment. I am waiting on fabric to make those. My biggest concern was the toe shape. The CRL specifies that the red suede should have a pointed toe, but the black has all kinds of allowances listed.

The movie versions had red pointed boots. The Ep2 boots are standard World War 2 German Jack Boots.

You could just go to a shoe maker, we have one in my town, he is reasonably priced, and he can just trim and cut the toe part into a point.

I already checked with mine, it will be under $50, he was thinking more around $35.
