Without even looking I can tell you I've heard lots of bad BAD stuff about StarFortress.

Whatever you do... avoid StarFortress at all costs. I could site numerous references from all over the legion about the problems with their products (in-accurate, shoddy manufacturing, cheap materials used, etc, etc, etc...). If you do a google search for them you'll see the kinds of problems people have had.

While Ebay sometimes has the rare gem find (Don Post TR helmet for under $100 as an example), this is by no means common. You can get ideas of what is out there, however, keep in mind what you might think you are saving will in all likelihood end up costing you more if you have to replace it right away.

Boots however elude me (might have to wait until the member made boots are available??). I trekked through the local mall today and found nothing. In the mean time could someone please look at the following link on shoebuy and give their thoughts please?

Ok Lucious I appreciate the response. The shoe buy boots are available most of the time so I will learn patience and see how your boots turn out. If they are going to be the closest to replica boots available then it would be best.
