Hello everyone!
My name is Zac I am SL-8539. I am wanting to become more active in troops but do not want to go through a 4-5 hour emperor make-up job everytime ! So, I have decided on getting a red royal guard costume. I do not have a preference on ROTS or ROTJ style. I am looking at trying to keep the entire project under 1000. I saw a site CP (edited by admin for content - contact information) that says they have a new design and after shopping around it looks like a good deal...
Could anyone let me know if this would be 501st approved? Is this ROTJ style? If not 501st approved does anyone have any suggestions?
Also, I am having trouble locating red suede boots in mens size 10.
For the force pike I was thinking about fenix props.

Any help is really appreciated as I would like to start on this project as soon as I can.

how well does this site do in regards to pieces? ive been checking it out as well and it looks pretty good, can anyone pm me some feedback?

4-5 hours of makeup???? what on earth are you doing man?!?!? My GF does a palpatine (emperor level at that) also and we get her makeup done in half that time.... PM me details on what you've got and maybe we can help you out there!

Welcome to the boards and have fun putting together the guard! It is a nice to have an alternative to a long makeup process (GF has a generic Jedi she does when the makeup time is impractical).
