Royal Guard WIP

Post by Brutal magic »

Ok boys & girls!

Today I received my outer robe and boots, my aim is to go for Sentinel Status, I have added shoulder pads and pinned a pleat on the shoulders as described in the CRL.

I have also slimmed the robes a little bit for that more fitted look with compromising the "following" look.

Thoughts welcome good and bad!

UPDATE! :tr:

Got the robes back but no impressed with the way they turned out so I have been given a great tip and have been told to use hockey pads!

So this is the first time lid and robes have been out together so a picture for all you. I have inner robes on the way and they should be with me in about 10 days.

I had to darken the the lens in the lid just a little to obscure my eyes, while still keeping there red appearance.

Thoughts?

You know what ironic, it is completely canon to see your eyes. :) Also there are mirrored red visors out there also.

Yeah I was shown those mirrored visors and bought some of my own and they rock. And all my garrison members that see me in it think it kinda freaky but cool. :)

Yeah I was very tempted to go with the mirrored visors but there are a few Royal guards in the UK Garrison so I kind of have to conform to the greater will. That way we will all match and no one sticks out for the wrong reasons. :trsuit:
Don't get me wrong dispite the picture the lens is still red.

Got the pads this morning so will post another picture tonight see how it looks. :tr:
