oops....

For modifying the Don Post helmet, adding the extras for a Crimson Empire helmet, as well as painting, padding, speakers, fans, etc.

My Don Post helmet fell...
it now has a crach alog the left side from the visor to around the back...

How do I fix this?

Was thinking 5 min epoxy... superglue...

Its not painted yet, all thats done to it was the visor was cut out....

hmm... Fiberglass or epoxy the inside, bondo the outside. Either or, sand it smooth and go from there. Structurally, keep the crack from becoming bigger.

I've never personally worked with a Don Post (my head is way too big) but what Fox5 said seems to make sense. I though have learned to loath Bondo only because it seems to have lots of little air bubbles which means I've been left with tiny pits after using it. My garrison advisor had falled in love with a product called Poly-Flex Putty. I've never personally used it, and I know it isn't cheap, but he has sworn off bondo since using this stuff for multiple builds.
