My co-worker bought some for Jedi boots and they have been trooped in multiple times. He said they're not bad. I'm thinking about a pair in black for RTOJ boots myself because red suede slippers seem to be kinda hard to come by

The whole debate on the black boots vs red boots.

Black Officer or Jack boots can be used in place of the red suede. The more movie route to go would be red suede for all guards that are not AOTC.

It makes me wonder: Why the change to black for one movie only?

Canon is no match for the whimsy of costume designers.
