The crl says no straps, buckles or ornamental stitching. The flap in back of that boot would likely need to go. I'm not confident that the overall style would work. You should send that pic to your gml directly and get their thoughts.
I have a feeling some would accept them but others would not.

Keep in mind that you might have issue color matching them afterward. And if I'm not mistaking, rotj needs to be bright red like the helmet and the outer robes, not dark red like the inner robe.
