I am currently at my first Armor Party and working on costume ideas and all of that.

I know the Rubies Helmet is approved with modifications. I think they stopped selling them but I think I found one on eBay.

I want to share the link to see if it would be approvable.

Doesn't look like a Rubies. Makes me nervous that the materials are listed as: "Material :18 Gauge Steel & Leather". Not sure where the leather is, but if the bucket is made of steel, that would be one heavy-a$$ helmet! Rubies are fiberglass (which is heavy enough as it is). Most guard helmets are either fiberglass, abs plastic or 3D printed.

If you can find an actual Rubies (you're right, they don't make them anymore), then yes, they are approvable with basically replacing the visor (the visor it comes with is not dark enough).

I can't find a rubies anywhere so it looks like it will be 3D printing for me.

Oh, do you have any suggestions on the gloves? I can find some great burgundy/wine colored leather gloves but I cannot find suede or cloth gloves to save my life.

Hopefully someone will come along that can help with a good glove recommendation , since I’m a RotJ guard. But I got all my soft goods through KeepTrooping.

I just ordered my Helmet from Walt's Trooper Factory and a Pike from Endor Armory.

Do you remember how long the pike took to arrive?

I think I read about the motto being Loyalty never dies but I coukd be wrong. I can't remember where I read that.

Not 100% sure how long it took. It was like 2-3 years ago, but maybe a couple months?
