Need help finding helmet

Post by ogprotectors1 »

Hello there! I want to do an ROTJ Royal Guard but I have no idea where to get the bucket from.
I found these on etsy but I have no idea if they're good or not.

Maker: CFN Props

I have no idea if these are good ones or not. Please let me know the best one I can buy, high quality, good durability and the most screen accurate.

Personally, I would stay away from a 3D printed helmet, unless it's in ABS or PETG. PLA will warp with heat, so even inside a Con center, those helmet are so hot, they will deteriorate.

Those helmets seems to have the side/flaps that rest on your shoulders very short. I'm no costume advisors, but depending on which version you do, they might not be approvable. Have you tried finding a Rubies? You only need to change the visor to have it approved, but they are hot and heavy (that's what I have).

Rubies will work with modifications. If you can find a used Anovos or Denuo Novo, they work great although are a tight fit. Walt's Trooper Factory on Facebook makes them as well, but I have no experience with them.
