I am working on a new a AOTC build. I’m getting the helmet from WTF. Working on all of the soft parts and have found boots.

I am female, is it kosher to add some structure to the shoulders of the robe or thwab to look a bit more broad?

Thanks

Yes, in fact my best friend (TR-31617) was instructed to do so by our GML. His helmet sat a little high, so he wears an EVA foam shoulder pad that fills the gap between it and the robe.

another easy solution is to use some foam knee pads from the dollar store! Cheap and effective!

I am continuing this build and hope to have some pictures to post tomorrow as I finish the hem on the robes. I generally followed the pattern posted on the forums here with the front overlapping the back of the robe (outer). The pattern does have the front in two sections, creating a center seam. It is hard for me to see in photos of other AOTC guards, but I do not see the seam in some of the pictures and the CRL does not specify, will this front seam be acceptable?

Hola!El ponerse unas gomaespumas en los hombros:
1º Ayuda a que la capa esté pegada al casco(a veces parece que vuela sobre la capa)
2º Descarga peso a los hombros y cuello,se agradece en misiones largas.

Edited to add new, better photos:

I welcome any opinions on improvements and changes.

I am concerned about the front seam on the outer robes. The CRL doesn’t specify construction in terms of where seams are placed. I used a pattern that was posted here on the forum that had the front section in two pieces. What is your opinion? Also, what are some ways to wear padding or other options to close the gap between the robes and the helmet?

Appreciate the help!
