ROTJ Costume

Hi everyone,
My name is Jessie AKA Lakos or TI-32124. Right now I am currently waiting to get my TIE armour and helmet. After that, I am waiting to begin to collect the pieces I need for the ROTJ Royal Guard. I have been doing a decent amount or research Both on the CRL and the forums here. I am aware that the full set (helmet not included) can come from Imperial Boots. My biggest questions are:
1) What material were the original ROTJ helmets made out of?
2) Where are the best places to get helmets (kits, raw and finished) Edit: I’ve since furthered my research and have found where to get a quality helmet. But I am still very interested in finding out what the original ROTJ helmets were made out of
