I’ve actually got the outer robes back in the package. I had ordered a 2XL and I was accidentally sent a 3XL outer robe. The shoulders are noticeably wide and off of mine. The inner robes are 2XL and fit Perfectly. I am 6’3” and 250lbs.

In my emails with Vincent at IB he said they are working on a new robe design and that if it works out I can just exchange my outer for it. So I’m looking forward to seeing what/when that is.

Yeah, the shoulders were a bit wide on mine too (drooped down), so I had them sewn up higher where they are suppose to be and they definitely look better! It's good to hear they are adjusting that part of the design...

I’m not exactly sure if that’s what he was referring to as part of the new style (it was worded kinda vaguely) but that would be a nice fix if its already an issue with others.

I would hope that's what he'd be referring to, cause the rest of the robes are pretty great! They have a little do much draping/bunching in the front (right about where the bottom of the bucket hits on me) for my taste, but I will fix that... Other than that, the inner robes/gloves/boots were spot on for me!

And the current shoulder thing isn't a deal breaker, just for me, and how it looked, it wasn't quite right for what I was going for...

I’ll update as soon as I get the new outer robes. It may be a little while though. Hopefully sooner than later.

Keep up the good work on your build. Definitely show photo progress. Then we can advise further.

Alright, a nice surprise came in today! It was the correct size robes! Here’s some images of them (not hemmed up yet of course). Also, to the good folks with normal color vision (I’m very colorblind), how well does the helmet match the robes? Is that passable as is or would it need to be redone? Or would I need different lighting to really tell? I appreciate all input.

I’ve also gotten word from Giovanni at Crowprops that my boots and gloves are shipping out! They made size 15 boots for me so if any other bigfoots are out there they can do yours as well. I’m looking forward to receiving those and realllly crossing my fingers (and toes!) that they fit well.

I’ve messaged Tom leech on TheRPF about a forcepike but no reply for some time. I’ve been looking at pool cues and such for a DIY but I’m still brainstorming.

I think you will be fine. Can you try laying the robes down flat on something with the helmet next to it? That way they are getting the same lighting if that makes sense.
