Salutations. Just received a post on facebook from the Sovereign Protectors. In several of the photos, there is a Shadow Guard carrying a what looks like DH-17 Blaster.

In the stories, I know that Shadow Guards carried them and also a Medipac. Wookiepedia also mentions them as equipment that the Shadow Guards used. What I am wondering is, are the DH-17 and or Medipacs are unofficial extras? Or an optional extra? Not that I wouldn't mind having a few extra points of customization to add to my costume.

Not in the CRL, so officially not allowed. On the ground though, the only one that can really stop someone wearing it is the GML or Garrison CO.

That's true, I knew that they are not shown in the 501st CRL, as of the last time I checked. I was just wondering was an unofficial change that had happened that was just making its way around.
