You did get the flexible fiberglass abdomen right? I suggest talking to Jim to see if he has any advice on repairs or possibly a replacement.

No, the abdomen part is not broken. It is really split there. That is the opening. You can actually just easily tear off the name labels. They are meant to be temporary.

Huh, okay. I trust Jim so maybe its a new thing he's doing with the ab girdle?

Either way, I think that can be fixed in a variety of ways, either with some sort of red elastic with a velcro closure to give it stretch, or if you want it to be rigid fiberglass matting + resin with some reinforcement material.
