You did get the flexible fiberglass abdomen right? I suggest talking to Jim to see if he has any advice on repairs or possibly a replacement.
thats the reason why I ask, cause Jim say that is normal and I don't believe him

Huh, okay. I trust Jim so maybe its a new thing he's doing with the ab girdle?

Either way, I think that can be fixed in a variety of ways, either with some sort of red elastic with a velcro closure to give it stretch, or if you want it to be rigid fiberglass matting + resin with some reinforcement material.
