Got my Saber Pike kit in this afternoon (shout out to Matt Nelson) and mocked it up with some spare piece of PVC that I had. It's about 5' long now. I think 6' pipe should be about right. There's roughly 3' of blade that goes on top of this.

I'm 6'4 for reference.

Oh yeah. Got the blade kit with it as well. Just trying to get the parts mocked up for the right size.

Here we go. Hitting the more final mock up.

The Pike hits e at about eye level, which from what I've seen looks right. I'm happy with the length of the Saber Pike. Blade, I kinda dig the length. It will fit in my case broken down into parts.

Need to touch up a couple of spots on it, and put a rubber chair foot on the bottom of it.

@mattnelson put together a good kit.

Hope to have my Kama done this weekend.

Silly question. I'm working on my Kama. Can I attach/stitch the kama straight to my under suit or does it HAVE to be attached to the belt?
Obviously, I would have the belt over top of the kama. Didn't know if that was an approvable method or not.
Thanks,

Dave

No one can see it, so doesn't matter at all. I contemplated that, but thought - if the belt moves, then you're stuffed. Better off making it move with the belt just in case.
