I found these boots today and they appear to match the CRL. If I remove the straps of course. They have no decorative stitching, square toe and a conservative heel. I don't want to buy them and discover they aren't right. What do you think?

I have a picture of the other side if needed, there is no zipper and it looks much the same as this side.

If cutting takes out the extra detail and you are left with the basic boot you will be fine.

Extra detail as in the straps, rivets and ring? Yes those will all be gone with a few cuts.
