Question on boots and gloves

Hello from Germany :)

I'm planning on building my own ROTS-style Royal Guard. A really tough challange is finding suitable red sued boots. I found two affordable pair of boots and I'm curious, if one of them would be fit for approval.

https://www.amazon.de/gp/aw/d/B06XSWVBK ... stiefel+43

or

https://www.amazon.de/gp/aw/d/B076CY8S5 ... stiefel+43

Both need to be trimmed and are available in size EU 43 (would fit me, if the shoes were for men, but they are for women...)

Thanks for all your help :)

Or could I use these shoes? Made for men and affordable, but they only reach until the ankle:

I'm thankful for your comments :)

I'm not an expert, but here is what I see:

CRL specifically requires that they cover the ankle, those would be close as to whether those would do that. They also look more burgandy rather than crimson (matching the outer robe). This also has a rounded rather than pointed toe.

Your first of the two amazon links would be unacceptable because of the eylets. The second, you would definitely have to take off the top ties, and I think the toe looks too rounded.

This is what you are looking for:

Honestly, it is going to be easier to find the optional black boots.

First of all thank you for the fast reply :)

Red suede shoes for men and for a reasonable amount of money are quite hard to find. So i decided to build them myself.
As a base I will use a pair of usual Chelsea-boots and some leftover suede leather fabrics (which I found at my grandma's house).

But I'm not sure if the colour is too dark - CRL says "crimson red"...
The first picture is a little bit too bright - in real life the colour is more of a dark red.

The second picture gives a more realistic idea:

Would a pair of those suede boots be acceptable? Or should I let them in black?

And my question about the gloves: Would dark red suede leather gloves be OK for an Approval? I could use the same fabric form the shoes for making my own suede leather gloves.
As an alternative I could turn the leather farbic around an use its smooth backside which looks like this:

So... are dark red suede leather gloves acceptable? Or do they need to be smooth?
Thanks for your advise :)

RoTS gloves are red leather, not burgundy suede as per the CRL

Understood.

And for the boots?

As per the CRL (http://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TR_rots):

The boots for RoTS need to be crimson red, not burgundy... they also require a pointed toe, not a round toe.
