The material has been found!!! It is a stretch velveteen with a reptilian scale design embedded in the fabric. As the fabric is stretched the design goes smooth. This design also appears to be smooth at some angles and textured at others the same as the screen photos we have been reviewing. The trick will now be to find this fabric at stores in the colours needed and in sufficient size to make the components (possibly in an upholstery section??). Keep your eyes open!!
