Hi all,

i started my build for a Rotj guard and wanted to share it here in a wip post.

I ordered the IB Guardian set and am looking now at the bucket and forcepike.

for the helmet i have seen some posts about the rubies supreme helmet and i wonder if anyone has experience how it maches the ib colors? and what mods i would need to perform?

The IB set is brand new, so I couldn't begin to guess how well it matches the Rubies bucket. I would anticipate some repainting, just on principle.

As for mods, my understanding is that the visor must be changed out. Also note that the Rubies one is prone to warping in extreme temperatures, if that has the possibility of being an issue for you. We have a few makers here that do buckets.

Thanks for the info! I'll continue my search, I saw as well that they are not sold easily in europe it would become more expensive/cumbersome than to have one made from fellow member.

I was wondering about the optional DH-17 blaster.

There are no details concerning a holster in the CRL.

Is it possible to equip a holster, if the DH-17 is present? If so i guess the belt must be hidden below the sash and what color should it be?

The holster would the basic design for the DH-17. It is not required for the costume approval.

The Rubie's helmet worked for me because it was the only one that fit my massive head. (It's like an orange on a toothpick). I got that first and then matched my fabric to it. The Rubie's will need the visor swapped out but that isn't difficult.

Small update,

Inner Robe, Outer Robe, Belt, Boots, Gloves, Neckseal and Balaclava: waiting for shipment info from IB.
Helmet: I decided to go for a TK-Sonic helmet.
Forcepike: Waiting for Cabbagefarmers wave beginning of next year.

With this now I'm waiting to get the different parts.

did you order the IB on the October's wave? I did, and each day I check my account for update!!!
