I thought i would repost this as all the pictures disappeared on my build thread. Hopefully this thread will help those wanting to make a forcepike that's easy but really effective looking.
To start off buy an 8 ball cue stick that unscrews in the centre.
Then after affixing handles, work on painting the various parts of the pike.

Spray paint everything silver. Use a box to avoid spraying the walls.
The next day the parts should be dry enough to attach to the pike. Also I needed to cut the cue stick down at the top as it’s too long at over 4 feet. The child’s syringe is attached at tip anyway so it doesn’t show any cutting. Also I needed to place each O ring over the small pvc pipe first then respray the top of stick. It takes a couple of days to dry as the rubber reacts with the paint. Still it looks amazing afterwards.

I take it to every troop and would feel incomplete without it.
Please make comments if you need advice. I'm no expert but I followed the various photos online and some tips here and then made it myself; it really makes a difference to each troop.

Thanks for this easy to follow and simple guide for people like me (I make Homer Simpson making a BBQ look good).
I thought my original ForcePike to be a bit "chunky" and so following your guide made another with a Pool Cue and bits and pieces. Your guide was invaluable
Hey that's great that you could use my guide here. Yes it certainly makes a difference using a pool cue. I trooped today and it was nice and light weight and easy to transport. All the best.

You are totally amazing for making this! I'll bookmark this for sure! Also, is there much of a difference between the forcepike from the prequels and from ROTJ?
Hey I’m back and saw your post. Thanks. A difference in pikes beteeen movies? There’s a thought. I can’t say there is looking at the photos. There may be slight things but as the Pike is basically a silver stick with a prong and black handles, I can’t say how they differ.

There are slight differences for RoTJ. One, for example, is the serrated style gold coloured rasp emiter.
Having said that, that part often required custom machine work, so I believe the CRL still allows for a stacked ring design for RoTJ (although probably recommends at least the colour is correct). It depends on how accurate you like things.

Hello I'm currently working on a revenge of the sith Senate guard costume and I'm very interested in making this for my costume, but have a few questions. I was curious what size the PVC pipe you used are and how big the pool cue is. I have two small ones sitting in my house now that I'm hoping to use and trying to gather up all the supplies now.
