As all TFU guards are built the same minus the different color options BLACK RED or BLUE - the Optional style of Red robe will be allowed but you will need to have the armor on with this accessory. The robes for these guards are not an alterative for armor on the costume but an enhancement.

Awesome, thanks! I had heard conflicting accounts on if the robes would be permissable on guards other than the shadow. I'll probably redirect my build that way then!

Naturally. That's the distinct appeal of it for me. I really like the armored guard look, but I was hoping the outer robe was an option for group synergy when trooping with other guard variants. Since it is, I have no reason not to pursue this. Though I have one more question about the outer robe. Is the lining supposed to match the red velvet (And/or be the same material as the belt cape), or should it be a wine color like with other red guard robes? I noticed that the crls on the shadow guard do not specify velvet/velveteen for the lining.

The lining would be that of Gabardine in wine/burgundy fabric which match up to the fabric of the undertones.
